This year’s topic was “The Future is Ferries,” and the topics include post-crisis passenger recovery and cybersecurity, as well as the environmental issues that will greatly affect the ferry business in the coming years.

FGV Europe participated in the 45th Interferry Conference together with the State Government of São Paulo, within the framework of the São Paulo State Coastal Ferries Concession Project.

The project has significant benefits for the population, including environmental impact management, a possible reduction in fares for environmentally friendly transport, investment in accessibility, new vessels and access technologies, among others. R$240 million will be invested during the 30-year contract period.

The event was an excellent opportunity to present the project to international stakeholders.
