- Explore opportunities to collaborate further with other partners beyond the ASL program.
Fundação Getulio Vargas – FGV, is the executing agency of the second phase of the ASL which is led by the World Bank , and is linked to the Global Environment Facility Program – GEF. It is one of the largest regional programs being implemented in the Amazon, to protect globally relevant Amazonian Forest ecosystems and implement policies to promote the sustainable use of natural resources and the recovery of native vegetation in the region. In Brazil, the ASL is led by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. Funbio – Fundo Brasileiro para a Biodiversidade and Conservation International Brasil are also partners.
