On a mission in New York City, Cesar Cunha Campos, Director of FGV Europe, met with representatives of the Consulate General of Brazil, where strategies for development partnerships benefiting bilateral relations were discussed. Vice Consul General Thiago de Faria Miranda and Assuma Carmelo described opportunities in the context of the Energy Transition and an Artificial Intelligence hub, where Brazil can stand out as an important player on a global scale. Given the relevance of the topic, FGV offered to develop the subject, and the Consulate offered its support for FGV’s initiatives as well as its facilities for events and meetings. FGV Europe also made itself available to collaborate as needed.

Also in NYC, Cesar Cunha Campos met with Ambassador Sergio França Danese, Brazil’s representative to the UN, and his advisor Matheus Bastos. Among the topics discussed were strategies to engage opinion leaders who can strengthen the understanding of Brazilian reality. Among them, the need to bring relevant individuals to Brazil was highlighted, where they can experience our reality firsthand. FGV agreed and emphasized that it has already been successfully implementing this strategy. Finally, the embassy made itself available, and FGV Europe offered its technical and academic staff to participate in relevant events.
