From April 28 to 30, FGV Europe took part in the Web Summit Rio. It was an intense and inspiring experience, filled with insightful exchanges with visionaries, startups, and sector leaders — reaffirming our commitment to central topics such as AI, sustainability, tech policy, and inclusive economic development.
Our participation was possible thanks to the partnership with the Brazil Business Center Cologne and KölnBusiness – the Economic Development Agency of Cologne, as well as the City of Cologne Stadt Köln, represented by Mayor Henriette Reker, whose presence highlighted the potential of international cooperation in promoting innovative and sustainable solutions.
🌆 Alongside the Web Summit, we had the honor of hosting a special reception in honor of the Mayor Henriette Reker, focused on strengthening ties between Cologne and Brazil and exploring new opportunities for collaboration among businesses, universities, and governments. A high-level meeting that reinforced the connection between Europe and Latin America, with FGV as a strategic bridge.
