On December 1st and 2nd, FGV Europe welcomed Professor Clovis de Faro, Vice President of FGV – Fundação Getulio Vargas and Professor Emeritus at FGV EPGE / FGV Brazilian School of Economics and Finance, to its offices in Cologne and Brussels, for an institutional agenda dedicated to strengthening the Foundation’s international initiatives across Europe.
During his visit Professor Clovis de Faro met with the Director of FGV Europe, Cesar Cunha Campos, to learn more about ongoing projects, strategic partnerships, and new opportunities for joint action within the European ecosystem. The discussions highlighted the expansion of initiatives in applied research, public policy, innovation, sustainability, and academic integration between Brazil and Europe.
The visit reinforces FGV’s commitment to consolidating its international presence, expanding cooperation networks, and promoting the production of high-quality knowledge in dialogue with European institutions.
As part of the agenda, an institutional lunch was also held with the Ambassador of Brazil, focused on strengthening relations between FGV and Brazilian diplomacy in Europe. The meeting addressed strategic topics for Brazil’s international engagement, underscoring FGV’s role as a reference center in research, education, and public policy analysis.
