On the eve of the I Permanent Interinstitutional Forum – Geopolitics of Transnational Organized Crime, Financial Intelligence, and International Judicial Cooperation, to be held at the European Parliament in Brussels, from 9th to 10th hosted by MEP Ana Miguel Pedro, FGV Europe, hosted a welcome dinner with the main event organizers, led by the Attorney General of Justice of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ), Mr. Antonio José Campos Moreira, Prof. Dr. Cesar Cunha Campos, Mr. Marfan Martins Vieira, Mr. Décio Freire, Mr. Técio Lins e Silva, Mr. Carlos Augusto Brandão, Mr. Antonio Bastos, among other authorities.
The gathering provided an opportunity for final alignment and coordination among the institutions involved, reinforcing the importance of cooperation for the success of this initiative.
The Forum will officially open this evening with a reception at the Hotel Stanhope, marking the start of two days of discussions dedicated to a topic of major relevance for the Brazilian, European, and international agenda.
