Celebrating Brazil and Strengthening Brazil–Europe Connections

FGV Europe was honoured to support the celebrations of the 204th anniversary of Brazil’s Independence, held on September 16th at the residence of H.E. Ambassador Silvio Albuquerque in Brussels.

Dr. Cesar Cunha Campos, Director-General of FGV Europe, participated in this special occasion. Also, Prof. Clovis de Faro, Vice President of FGV and Professor Emeritus at FGV EPGE – Brazilian School of Economics and Finance; Prof. Paula Wojcikiewicz Almeida, Professor of International Law at FGV Rio Law and Director of the Centre for Global Law and the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EU-LA Global Challenges; and Klaus de Freitas Stier, Senior Business Advisor at FGV Europe, were present at the event.

This was an excellent opportunity to exchange views, strengthen institutional connections, and engage with Brazilian companies, longstanding partners, and key stakeholders committed to advancing cooperation between Brazil and Europe.

Moments like these reinforce the importance of institutional dialogue, academic cooperation, and strong partnerships that continue to bring Brazil and Europe closer together.

FGV Europe remains committed to building bridges, fostering dialogue, and strengthening Brazil’s presence in Europe.

Thank you: Embassy of Brazil in Brussels and H.E. Ambassador Pedro Miguel da Costa e Silva, Mission of Brazil to the EU .
