On October 16th, 2025, FGV Europe, in collaboration with the European Parliament, is organizing the seminar “Brazil and the European Union: common challenges and perspectives”, hosted by Ana Miguel Pedro, Member of the European Parliament and Member of the EU–Brazil Delegation.
This high-level event marks the official inauguration of FGV’s new office in Brussels and brings together policymakers, diplomats, academics, and thought leaders from both sides of the Atlantic to discuss the evolving strategic partnership between Brazil and the European Union amid global transformations.
The program will feature two thematic panels (panel 1: Geoeconomics and Trade and panel 2: Global Security), in addition to an opening session, a keynote address on geopolitics, and a closing session summarizing the main insights and outlining future perspectives for EU–Brazil cooperation.
