Pedro Trengrouse is a lawyer, go-to specialist for investment and corporate affairs in sports, whose career has focused on advising the private and public sector in key policies and initiatives related to new technologies and innovative approaches to Sport as a tool for human, social and economic development. He is the Academic Coordinator of the FGV/FIFA/CIES Programme on Sports Management at Fundação Getulio Vargas and Fall 2014 Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School, tethered directly to Professor Charles Nesson, Weld Professor of Law, Faculty Co-Director, Berkman Center for Internet and Society.
He served the United Nations as UNDP Consultant on matters related to the FIFA World Cup 2014 and is also a Trusted Advisor to institutions and corporations such as COB, CPB, CBF, CBV, CBB, CBCa, CBSurf, Ab-Inbev, Globo amongst others. He is a FIFA Master laureate and holds a certificate on Casino Regulations from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, being the first Brazilian admitted at the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA). The FIFA Corporate Social Responsibility department and the FIFA Foundation were created in line with the recommendations made in his FIFA Master thesis, published by SDA Bocconi and regarded as a reference to the field by the United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace.
